Therefor choose the option &#8222;Import Database-Backup from SQL-file&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_9.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_9.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pop-up window reminds you, that you have to enter a name for the database to import. You can close it with &#8222;OK&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_10.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_10.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter a name for the database in the &#8222;Database&#8220; text box. As the &#8222;Server&#8220; you use &#8222;localhost&#8220;, since the database is imported on this device. Click on &#8222;Next&#8220; to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_26.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_26.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to the event name on top of the Main Tree Menu, you find now the information &#8222;(local)&#8220;, which indicates that you are working on a local database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_27.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_27.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"step29\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change the IP-adress of the local database server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to work with multiple devices on the same database, you should give the local database server a static IP-address. Therefor open the network settings and click on &#8222;Change adapter options&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_29.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_29.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right-click on the connection of the local network in which you want to use this local database server (preferable Ethernet connection).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_30.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_30.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the &#8222;Properties&#8220; from the menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_31.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_31.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the &#8222;IPv4&#8220; item and click on &#8222;Properties&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_40.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_40.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of obtaining an IP address automatically, choose the option &#8222;Use the following IP address&#8220;. Make sure to use the corresponding IP address range of your router which no other device in the network uses at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_34.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Setup_a_local_database_server_34.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To check your current IP-address and the Subnet mask, enter the command &#8222;ipconfig&#8220; in the command prompt. Use the same IP-address range and subnet mask for the static IP-address. Click on &#8222;OK&#8220; to save the changes.
