{"id":80074,"date":"2023-11-06T13:55:37","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T12:55:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.sportdata.org\/knowledge-base\/mode-selection-during-login\/"},"modified":"2023-11-06T13:55:37","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T12:55:37","slug":"mode-selection-during-login","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/es\/knowledge-base\/mode-selection-during-login\/","title":{"rendered":"Mode selection during Login"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This article describes the intended use of the different login modes.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"summary\">\n<div>\n<div id=\"inhalt\">\n<div class=\"step\">\n<div class=\"contentstep\">\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 30px;\">How to login with different modes<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">First open the SET software and connect to an <a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/knowledge-base\/login-to-set-online-database\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a> or a <a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/knowledge-base\/login-to-local-database\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">local<\/a> database.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_2.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">Put in the correct login credentials, select the right mode (modes are described below), and hit on the \u00abLog in\u00bb-button to proceed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_30.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_30.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">Proceed with the \u00abNext\u00bb-button or by pressing \u00abEnter\u00bb on your keyboard.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_31.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_31.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">To change the login mode go to \u00abLog out\u00bb in the \u00abFile\u00bb drop down menu and you will auotmatically return to the Login window to select a different mode.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_33.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_33.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"step41\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<h2>Administration Mode<\/h2>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">The Administration Mode is the most powerful mode for eventmanagers where all tools and features are enabled. This is the correct mode for all administrative tasks before, during and after the event related to topics like registration, draws, timetable, result management etc.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_41.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_41.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"step36\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<h2>FOP Mode<\/h2>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">The Field of Play (FOP) Mode (e.g. Ring Mode or Tatami Mode) is designed to be used at the FOP. This mode only includes necessary features for the FOP (e.g. the Point Panels), to ensure an easier user interface for the operators and to make sure that only authorized people (e.g. eventmanagers using administration mode) are able to do changes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">Notice: This mode must be used to display activities properly in the online services like the live activity blog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_36.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_36.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"step37\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<h2>Referee Mode<\/h2>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">The Referee Mode should be used to handle referee draws and other referee related topics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_37.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_37.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"step38\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<h2>Registration Mode<\/h2>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">In Registration Mode only the features related to registration of participants are enabled. Users which are working in this mode are therefore not able to access other administrative features like generating draws or timetables. This allows a selective distribution of responsiblities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_38.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Mode_selection_during_Login_38.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"step39\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<h2>Terminal Mode<\/h2>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">The Terminal Mode can be used for Info-Terminals which allows users to access real time infomation.
