Therefor it is necessary that all devices are connected to the same network with the same IP-address range (e.g. 192.168.1.xxx) . To connect a laptop to the local database server, select the option \u00abUse local \/ network database\u00bb, when you open the SET software.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Login_to_a_Local_Database_8.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/set.sportdata.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Login_to_a_Local_Database_8.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;\">Enter the name of the database, that you want to connect to. You will get a pop up message if you are not able to connect to the local database server.
