How long does it take before I can run my own event?
You can quickly get up to speed and run your event using our resources. Our knowledge base and demo platform let you learn at your own pace. Once you've set up the equipment and tested everything, you're ready to go.
Experience in network setup, tournament design, and sport rules is beneficial for a smoother setup. Many users prepare in just a few days, depending on experience and time invested.
When working with SET OVR, should I work online or offline?
We strongly recommend working offline during events for speed and reliability.
Relying on the internet can cause issues like:

- Server downtime
- Bandwidth limits
- Power outages
In tournaments, delays add up quickly. Working offline eliminates these risks, ensuring a smooth event.

Can I test the SET Pro before starting my official event?
Absolutely! We offer the SET Pro Platform, where you can create an Event Manager account to explore and practice using the software. This includes creating a test event and signing in to the OVR software, allowing you to fully simulate an event and familiarize yourself with all the features before your official event.
This hands-on practice ensures you're confident and prepared to run your event smoothly.
What´s the difference between SET Pro & SET OVR?
SET Pro and SET OVR are both part of our event management ecosystem but serve different roles:
SET Pro: A complete event management suite, including SET OVR and other tools, covering planning, registration, scheduling, and reporting.
SET OVR (On Venue Results): A standalone software for real-time operations like timing, scoring, and results. It’s part of SET Pro but can also be used independently.
In short, SET Pro manages the entire event, while SET OVR focuses on live event operations.
When will I receive my license after creating my event?
Once you’ve created your event, your license will be sent to you via email within 24 hours. If you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. For any delays or issues, feel free to contact our support team.
